Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie

There's an old saying that revenge is a dish
best served cold.

Monza Murcatto helped the Duke of Talins attain
his high office by leading his armies to victory.
In return she was stabbed and thrown off of a
high balcony along with her brother. Yet
Murcatto did not die.

It would have been better.... for the seven men
responsible, including the Duke of Talins, if she
had died.

Seeking revenge and justice for her brother's
death and for her own attempted murder,
Monza Murcatto engages several other
dangerous persons to assist her in her plans
for a dish best served cold.

The novel is well written and the story lines
easy to follow. In fact, I enjoyed the book
and read it cover to cover on a cold evening,
the type of evening to stay in, warm, with
a hot cup of cocoa or tea and a good book.

I'm looking forward to reading more of
Joe Abercrombie's literary works.
