BRISINGR - Christopher Paolini

Brisingr is the third book in the series and I'm
eagerly awaiting the fourth, which Paolini is
currently working on.

Brisingr is a continuation of the tale of the
Dragon Rider Eragon, the Varden, Elves and
the Dwarves who fight for freedom against
the evil Galbatorix and his horrid minions of
evil.

In Brisingr Eragon and his companions make
insightful discoveries that may aid them in
their fight. Both Eragon and Saphira, his
dragon, suffer the loss of two whom they
respect and love, and learn that
responsibility can weigh heavy.

Amidst the war and politics Eragon walks
a fine line in honoring his various oaths,
those made to the Varden, to the Elves,
and to his clan of Dwarves. While the
council meets to select the new King of
the Dwarves Eragon encounters those
who would rather see him dead.

Christopher Paolini burst onto the scene
with his first book Eragon and brought
forth settings and characters that make
it easy for the reader to want to follow
them to their tale's end.

Jennifer Lee Carrell

Murder, manuscripts, and the mystery of
"Who was William Shakespeare?"

The novel "Interred With Their Bones" by
Jennifer Lee Carrell marries literature and
mystery together for an intriguing treasure
hunt.

Events and scandals in Shakespeare's time
reach dark tentacles into the future in the
form of greed and murder. Drawn into the
hunt for an undiscovered manuscript the
Bard is said to have penned, Kate Stanley
is stalked by a killer who's willing to stop
at nothing.

Pursued across England, America and Spain,
Kate's strength and determination fuels her
willingness to go forward in the face of
danger. Embarked upon the quest to solve
the mystery and prevent her adversary
from obtaining lost knowledge spanning
the breadth and length of four hundred
years, Kate must determine who is her
ally that she can trust, and who is the
enemy.
