Colleen McCullough

Collee McCullough is the author of "The Thorn
Birds," which was turned into a movie of the
same name.

I've long been a fan of Colleen McCullough's
ever since I read "The First Man in Rome" and
have read "The Grass Crown", "Ceasar's Women",
"Fortune's Favorites, and "The October Horse."
All of these were novels chronicling Ceasar's
youth, his rise to and fall from, power.

Recently she's released her latest book
"Anthony & Cleopatra." This novel brings a
fresh new approach to the ancient story and
I'm looking forward to her next novel.

M.J. Rose

"The Recreationist" is a tale of a bombing victim who
begins to have memories that stem from the time
of Rome, under the rule of the Emperor Constantine.
The novel explores the theories of reincarnation
and the concept that people sometimes come back
because of a task left undone.

This is the first book authored by M.J.Rose that
I've read and I did enjoy it. I'd already tumbled
to the identity of the protagonist, and however
realistic her ending was I am one of those persons
who will go "AWWW Damn!" because I was hoping for
a different ending.

M.J.Rose has authored other books, "Lip Service";
"The Halo Effect"; "The Delilah Complex" and
"The Venus Fix."
